Our Mission
Following God’s command to love our neighbor as ourselves, Murfreesboro Rescue Mission exists to provide help, hope, and healing to our community’s most vulnerable population experiencing homelessness.
OUR GOALS
Guided by compassion and collaboration, our goals reflect the work we are doing today and the vision we are building for tomorrow.
Partner
Build strong community partnerships that enhance collaboration and strengthen our shared response to homelessness.
Shelter
Work toward building a comprehensive shelter that will help alleviate the burden of homelessness in our community.
Empower
Develop future support programs that guide individuals toward lasting stability, recovery, and independence.
The Power of Support
Strong family and social support networks can act as a protective factor, helping people avoid or exit homelessness more quickly. Where family support is absent or strained, Murfreesboro Rescue Mission seeks to provide a stabilizing community of care that will offer safe, supportive programs, and pathways that help individuals rebuild stability and reconnect with healthy community relationships.
